Fit to fly certificate
A medical assessment and a written certificate confirming that flying is responsible for you. Start with the online intake: reviewed within 24 to 48 hours for 75 euro, or urgent within 6 hours for 100 euro.
If our practitioner cannot issue a certificate, you get 50 percent of the fee back.
What is a fit to fly certificate?
It is a short medical statement saying that there is no objection to you boarding a flight. Airlines ask for one in situations where cabin pressure, a long journey or limited medical care on board could be a risk: during pregnancy, or when an airline, employer or embassy requires proof of medical fitness.
Our practitioner goes through your medical history, your trip and the requirements of your airline, contacts you by phone or video call where useful, and writes the certificate. You receive it digitally.
Your request is reviewed within 24 to 48 hours of the complete online intake.
Flying soon? Then we review your request within 6 hours.
No certificate? Then you get 50 percent back.
You pay at the clinic. See all our fees on the pricing page.
For which situations?
Pregnant travellers
Many airlines ask from around 28 weeks for a statement confirming how far along you are and that flying is safe. Bring your pregnancy records or your due date.
Work and visa assessments
Offshore work, a posting, an internship or study abroad often requires a statement of medical fitness. Bring the form from your employer, school or embassy.
General fit to fly certificate
Does your airline or tour operator simply ask for a statement that you are able to fly? We can arrange that too: standard within 24 to 48 hours, urgent within 6 hours.
In complex medical situations, for example an unstable condition, a certificate is only possible after consultation with your treating specialist. Call us beforehand so we can tell you what is realistic.
