Urgent and last-minute vaccination
Departing within days? A lot is still possible. We often see you the same or the next day, including evenings and weekends.
The advice to come four to six weeks before departure exists for a reason: some schedules need several injections. But if that ship has sailed, a short run-up is far better than none. Many vaccinations build protection within days, and malaria tablets can be started right before you fly.
Do not wait to find out whether it is 'too late'. One phone call is enough for us to tell you what is still worthwhile for your destination and departure date.
What still works when time is short
Protection builds within days; one injection often suffices if you were vaccinated before.
Even an injection on the day of departure still protects, because the incubation period is long.
Gives protection within roughly seven days, so it often still fits a short run-up.
The international certificate is only valid 10 days after the injection. Leaving sooner? Call us.
Mandatory for Hajj and Umrah; recorded in your certificate straight away.
Two injections one week apart can be a solution when time is short.
Tablets are started shortly before departure and can be prescribed last minute.
Which vaccinations you actually need depends on your destination, the length of your trip and your medical history. Your practitioner decides that with you during the consultation, following the LCR guidelines.
