March to May and September to November are the most pleasant. In summer, inland cities such as Marrakech and Fez can exceed 40 °C.
Malaria
Morocco is malaria-free. Antimalarial tablets are not needed, though protection against mosquito bites remains sensible.

- Hepatitis A and DTP are the key vaccinations, including for family visits and all-inclusive holidays.
- For longer stays or close contact with the local population we also advise hepatitis B and typhoid.
- Drink only bottled water and be careful with ice cubes and unwashed raw food.
- For visits to friends and relatives the risk of hepatitis A and typhoid is higher than on a hotel holiday.

We are visiting family with children - what is needed?
