About Mumps, Measles and Rubella
Three viral infectious diseases that can cause serious complications. Measles is highly contagious and occurs worldwide. Rubella is especially dangerous for pregnant women. Mumps can cause infertility in men.

All three spread through droplet infection by coughing and sneezing. Measles is one of the most contagious diseases that exists.

Who should get this vaccination?
- People who are not or incompletely vaccinated
- People born after 1965 without proof of vaccination or past illness
- Travelers to areas with high measles activity

Who needs MMR vaccination?
Anyone who has not completed the two national programme doses and travels to an area where measles occurs.
How many doses are needed?
Two doses at least four weeks apart give very high, long-lasting protection.
I do not know whether I had MMR. Can I repeat it?
Yes, an extra dose is not harmful if you are already protected. Our practitioner will advise you.
