About Hepatitis A and B
This combination vaccine protects against two different forms of liver inflammation. Hepatitis A spreads through contaminated food and water; hepatitis B through blood and body fluids. Both can cause serious illness.
How is it transmitted?
Hepatitis A: fecal-oral route (contaminated food/water). Hepatitis B: blood and body fluids (sexual contact, needles, medical procedures).

- Hepatitis B: chronic infection, liver cirrhosis, liver cancer
