Vaccinations for Umrah
The medical requirements for Umrah are the same as for Hajj. This page explains what is required, what is sensible and when best to come.

Short answer
For Umrah, Saudi Arabia requires meningococcal ACWY, given at least ten days before arrival and recorded in the international vaccination certificate. We also advise DTP and hepatitis A. As Umrah can be performed all year round, ideally book four to six weeks before departure.

Required and advised
- Required: meningococcal ACWY, at least ten days before arrival
- Advised: DTP and hepatitis A
- In busy periods such as Ramadan: also consider influenza vaccination
- You receive the international vaccination certificate straight away
When to book the appointment
Preferably come four to six weeks before departure. If it is later, the ten-day rule before arrival applies. We also work evenings and weekends, so a last-minute Umrah usually still fits.
